the yearly "should i go to grad school?" crisis
every year, i have the "should i go to grad school?" crisis. i start spiraling when i imagine myself climbing the corporate ladder and being a product designer... for the rest of my career. like what happens after you become the super senior vice president of staff director of product design?
the spiral usually results in me spending hours googling things like: the problem is that programs like these all sound fun, but are they worth the cost 😭?
- nyu itp program cost
- classical saxophone performance master's programs
- mit media lab lifelong kindergarten. also why is it that every year i look, it says "no, the Lifelong Kindergarten group will not be accepting any new graduate students."
- columbia teachers college
- what do museum curators study in college?
the more practical reason i want to go to grad school is because i think my actual dream job is to be a design professor at a university. and unfortunately, i think most of those jobs require you to have some sort of graduate level degree.
anyway, i will probably go yet another year without resolving the "should i go to grad school?" question.
